All the models except the CBM700-S, have a pivoting lip, which is lifted up automatically by a small hydraulic cylinder when the cradle is raised, helping to secure the reel. The lip lowers down to allow easy loading and unloading of the reel. To prevent accidental release of the load, the release button is located separately from the lift & lower buttons. The minimum height of the cradle is designed to allow easy loading from a pallet.
